In Greensboro, there are many activities and contents, including a beard and moustache contest on March 19, with a pub crawl to get the party started. In Greenville, SC on March 12, take part in the St. Paddy’s Day Dash & Bash at Fluor Field and enjoy runs, live music, a costume contest and more. Also on March 12, the National Whitewater Center will hold a Color Me Green 5K Color Run. The fun continues at 1:00pm when the river turns as green as a four-leaf clover and live music kicks off on Belmont Abbey Island.
Looking for authentic Irish fare? In uptown Charlotte, visit Ri-Ra, Connolly’s on Fifth, Belfast Mill, or all three! Dohery’s Irish Pub in both the Apex and Carey locations will have live Irish music and dancing on Saturday March 12. Other pub celebrations can be found throughout the Triangle, with plenty of Irish stouts and Guinness stews! Parades and Festivals
Raleigh’s Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival will be held on Saturday, March 12. Catch the 20th Annual St. Patrick’s Day and Charlotte Goes Green Festival on Saturday, March 19. If you’re looking for small town fun, you’re in luck. Clover, SC will host events to include a Leprechaun Leap, live bands, family activities, amusement rides, dog show, vendors, food and more. Rock Hill, SC gets in the spirit on March 17 with a St. Patrick’s Day on Main Festival featuring live Irish music, Irish dancers, vendors, a Kid’s Zone and food & beverages.
